LATEST NEWS
Edwardsville, IL (August 26, 2010) - The oil pump belt failure during hot laps Saturday night at Pevely appears to have been "the straw that broke the camels back," or in this case Butch's. After collecting a couple of DNS for the night, Butch got bumped to 13th in track points, all but ending his hopes of placing in the top 10 for the year. After weeks of putting in close to 20+ hour days, the wear and tear of the demands of the racing season have taken their toll, and Butch has decided to hang up the helmet for the season. The #76 was on the track for 22 races this year, with many nights ending with disappointment due to a plague of mechanical failures and typical racing luck. That being said, Kruckeberg Motorsports is confident they have got some great race cars, with real promise, to get ready for next year.
Butch would like to thank everyone for all of their hard work this year, and for helping to make racing fun again. Butch plans on helping Craig Smith for the remainder of the year, in Craig's quest for a track championship.
Butch has some new merchandise available for purchase. Please stop by the the pits after the races and pick up your calendar, window decal, hero card or a diecast collectible.
